Wish Bone.

My Wish bone t-shirt i designed for Illustrated People is not on their website,
Which is very exciting.

And i thought i'd also show you my diamond t-shirt i designed again but on their website,

WitchCraft.

Along with my dissertation on psychedelic art etc,
I have a major project to do.
I've decided to base it on WitchCraft.

Once all my ideas are sorted out, i'll let you know what they are.
But for now here's something i did last week.

Psychedelic Sundaze.

Today was AWESOME.
Liz came and met me and we went and bought tickets for Psychedelic Sundaze @ Ideas Gallery in East London.
We went and had lunch in Hoxton square until the exhibit opened.
We got there and had a looked around at the insane contemporary poster designs (i'm inlove)

My dissertation is on psychedelic art and it's era and i'm so interested in it that i've been so looking forward to going to this gallery.

I haven't been blogging in a while,
and probably wont for a while,
I am currently stressing out about my final year at uni... mostly the dissertation
So today I went to the library for a couple hours to try and research some stuff but erm...

3rd year at BESTival.

Got the bestival blues <3
Decided to be creative today, done some little somethings.
Then I've realised i have loads to do in the following week and 1/2 before uni...
Find a house,
Write my strategic plan for uni,
Do my dissertation plan and research (once i figure out what i'm going to write about)
and all i wanted to do before uni was chillax at home with Mum, Dad and Lily.
Also while I was at bestival Lily got baptised and I'm not only her sister, but now her God Mother also.

Self Portrait,

This is probably going to be the start of a series of stuff.
Keeping in mind 'Self Portrait' and this could probably get a bit deep.
I would explain now but i need to work on it more first.

A few things... can NOT wait for the new kasabian album to come out on like the 18th sept?
Also bestival next week... so excited to party. I haven't partied in months.

I say moon.

I designed a wishbone t-shirt for illustrated people which was taken to notting hill carnival.

No pictures though, which is a shame, but when i get the t-shirt i'll take a photo and put it on here.

But for now i thought this design i did looked more interesting than my wish bone drawing.

A love of shapes

This week i did some shapes at work, in some different ways.
Normally i'm stuck to my black pen but not this week.
Tuesday we get to screen print 4 designs we've chosen that we did this week.
Trying to choose 4 out of the 30 i have done... is pretty difficult.
Got to compromise between the ones i love and the ones i know that would sell.

Happy accidents

Was working on photoshop and thought i'd print screen this,

was very pleasing to my eye. Interesting.

Next week is the last week of my internship at Illustrated people and i'm watching big brother on channel 5.

These are the accidents i had this week.

Colour makes me happy.
Was meant to be going to some galleries this weekend but working instead.
Galleries can wait, money can not. x

At Illustrated People, I'll show you a bit of a process for one of the tops.
I do a lot of  designing before a piece gets chosen.

Watching Meet Joe Black

i missed the first 30 minutes though.
"I love your smell"

I did this a couple weeks ago...

Based on Aztec designs, navajo, geometric shapes... etc.
I really enjoy doing things like this.
But this can be used more, worked on in some way.

Bored.

Working in the Illustrated People shop.

Bit cold and bored at the moment so i'm getting on with some work while i wait for customers to roll up.

I did an upside down heart for a repeat pattern on a crop top for illustrated people,

but i think it looks nice as a closed repeat pattern, and also i should make a shape out of it too.

I did it in a peachy colour too which i think i prefer.
